The current origin of the Lodge can be traced to a dinner of the Old Portora Union in the Manor House Hotel, Enniskillen in 1965, when JAWallace was the President.  A remark by GCAndrews that he thought that an old boys Masonic lodge should be formed, evoked the response from JAWallace ‘That’s a bloody good idea.  Get on with it.’
