On Saturday 28th June 2014 a group comprising five Masonic Lodges and two Royal Arch Chapters held a very successful BBQ and Dance for Charity. The event was held at Lough Erne Yacht Club who kindly gave permission to use their premises.

A grand total of £1,785.00 was raised for two Charities namely Teddies for Loving Care and the Cardiac Unit of the South West Acute Hospital.

On Tuesday 22nd July 2014 a cheque for £1,285.00 was presented to Staff Nurse Claire Lindsay of the Cardiac Unit and on Thursday 31st July 2014 a cheque for £500.00 was presented to W.Bro. Derek Humes the local representative of the Teddies for Loving Care Charity. Teddies for Loving Care is a Masonic Charity which provides Teddies at hospital Emergency Departments for staff to give at their discretion to children being treated to help comfort and reassure them.

The Lodges involved were 315 Ballinamallard, 220 Pettigo, 819 Ederney, 58 Trillick and 277 Irvinestown. The Royal Arch Chapters involved were 819 Ederney and 58 Trillick.
