V W Bro James Wilson receives 50 Year Jewel

Presentation to V W Bro James Wilson

At the last stated communication of St John's Ederney Lodge 819, on the 30th April, the Brethren had the great pleasure of presenting a 50 Year Jewel to V W Bro James Wilson. V W Bro Wilson joined St John's on 20th December 1963. V W Bro Wilson has been a stalwart of Lodge 819 ever since. He was Worshipful Master in 1977 and held the post of Secretary from 1984 to 1993. He remains the oracle of 819 and is always available for help and guidance in all matters which pertain to Masonic ritual.

V W Bro Wilson was also a very active member of Provincial Grand Lodge of Tyrone and Fermanagh holding a number of posts

The 50 year jewel was presented by Provincial Grand Master Rt W Bro Maurice Lee who spoke in glowing terms about V W Bro Wilson's contribution to the Masonic Order.
