On Wednesday 18 November, the Provincial Grand Master, R.W.Bro Maurice Lee, accompanied by the Provincial Grand Treasurer, Hazlett Moore, and the Provincial Grand Almoner, V.W.Bro Jim McBain, travelled to the Children's Hospice in Killadeas, where they were joined by the Deputy Grand Master, R.W.Bro Rodney McCurley and Ms Tina McCrossan, Head of Children's Services of the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice. During a tour of the Hospice the visitors were shown treatment and rehabilitation facilities and rooms available for use by individual children and families when they came in for respite care. The R.W.Bro Lee then presented a cheque to the Children's Hospice for £4,000 on behalf of the brethren of Tyrone and Fermanagh from the Provincial Grand Lodge Local Benevolent Fund, bringing to some £25,000 the total amount of money raised by Masons in the Province for the on-going work of the Hospice.
